The everyday stuff

Small snags can take up a big part of the day.

When the office and field are moving at once, little exceptions keep coming back around. We start by noticing where they happen and what they ask of your people.

  • Schedule changes that take several calls to settle
  • Job details that are missing when a crew needs them
  • Invoice exceptions that need extra checking
  • Customer follow-up that gets pushed to later

Your version may look different. That’s why the first step is listening.

A grounded approach

Make one useful thing work better.

Start with a no-charge Opportunity Scan of one or two business problems. We compare your perspective with relevant evidence, check the simplest options, and help you decide whether further work is worthwhile.

  1. 01

    Start with your priorities

Share one or two problems and a recent example by email, voice response, or a short call. We check fit before requesting evidence.

  2. 02

    Check the evidence

With your permission, compare your view with relevant records, a recent work example, and a brief staff perspective when useful. The scan makes no operational changes.

  3. 03

    Find the simplest route

Look first at your existing software, processes, and team responsibilities. Consider AI or automation where it can meaningfully help.

  4. 04

    Choose a useful next step

Review a concise Opportunity Brief: a separate implementation proposal, a paid deeper diagnostic if more evidence is needed, or no further work. There is no obligation to continue.

Workflow first. Automation and AI are options for a problem worth solving, not the starting point.

A small first step

Start with a no-charge Opportunity Scan.

Bring one or two things you wish worked better. We’ll take a focused look at your perspective and relevant business evidence to identify what may be worth improving—and what may not justify more time or money.

The scan is a small review, not a full business audit or free implementation. You receive a concise Opportunity Brief with findings, uncertainties, and a recommended next step. Any deeper diagnostic or implementation work is agreed separately.

Who it may suit

Owner-led lawn care or landscape businesses using LawnPro, with crews and office work to coordinate. We welcome conversations with smaller teams and businesses across the U.S.; fit depends on your needs, not a fixed employee count.

How we start

Start with about 15 minutes of conversation or written responses. We aim to keep total owner/staff time through evidence setup and findings review to about 45 minutes when practical.

Your information

No customer records, passwords, or system access are needed to begin. If the scan is a fit, we agree on the smallest useful evidence source and permissions first; diagnostic review only, with no system changes.

No charge and no obligation to continue. Findings depend on the available evidence; savings and results are not guaranteed.

A note from Jed

Built with a small-business owner’s perspective.

I’m Jed Burkey, an optometrist and small-business owner from Nebraska. Analyzing my own business and its workflows—and using automation and AI to support that work—helped me see where everyday operations could work better.

Healthcare’s privacy requirements limited how I could use AI with the information in my practice. That experience led me to explore how similar approaches might help other small businesses, while respecting the privacy of their customers and teams.

After researching different industries and software, I chose to begin with lawn care and landscaping businesses using LawnPro. The opportunity is practical: understand the work, get more from the systems already in place, and test improvements together.

Why start with lawn care, landscaping, and LawnPro?

  • Recurring work we can learn from.Repeat visits and seasonal services offer opportunities to test a small improvement, observe what happens, and refine it over time.
  • Clear handoffs and everyday exceptions.Estimates, crew schedules, weather changes, job completion, and billing give us concrete workflows to examine—and practical ways to measure less chasing and more reliable follow-through.
  • A foundation already in place.LawnPro brings together customer records, estimates, scheduling, invoicing, and reporting, with built-in reminders and workflow automations. We start by checking what your plan and current setup can already do.
  • A direct connection to AI assistants.LawnPro supports connecting ChatGPT or Claude to help review business information and prepare supported actions. We begin with read-only work and keep changes subject to your approval.

LawnPro’s AI connection is available on eligible paid plans, not trial accounts. We verify capabilities and permissions before use. Evenstride Loop is independent and is not endorsed by LawnPro. See LawnPro features and AI connection details.
